News 30/04/08: Information about our club.

To all Players and Membership of our football club.  I know it has been while that no news or update on this website.  It is because that I put all my effort to get funding grant for new kits and lots more.

I heard that some players don't understand how our club worked.  So, I make myself clear.  In Fenton, There are two five a side in our club, Stoke City Deaf FC A & B, both team share the fund not seperated because both team under the same club and same bank account.

About the kits that I show to most of the players on Wednesday 23rd April, It is an example of the material and what they can do with colour and design.  We are NOT to have exactly same design as the sample.  I wonder who say these ridiculous story?

I got one kits design ready but four more to go to give you the choice of which design you like.

I must tell you, it is not easy and laid-back tasks, It is involved accounting work, communication with outside our club, getting sponsorship, organisate new kits and etc.  I am getting there and I am confidence that we will achieve it.  I am very exciting abou these.

Our club is Stoke City Deaf Football Club and got NO financial link to Stoke City Football Club but we are only work together on communicity.  E.g. Training with Stoke City FC coaches and seven a side.

Also, once I received all funding grants, There will be new and better website, I will have time to put all my effort on website and 11 a side games.

There is a news about Stoke City Deaf Football Club, Stephen Bradbury is now Manager of the B team, and I am Manager Assistant of the B team.  Give Stephen big support.  Also, please give Nigel must need support as well because he need it to get his confidence back and smile.  Considering, he gave our club lots of benefits over the years and make our club stronger and bigger then ever before.

GOOD NEWS!  Nigel and I been argee to set up "Battle of the Fenton" at the end of season, this is our opportunity to find our skills, weakness and lots more.  This your chance to show your best perfromance to stay in the team or move up for B team players?

Remember that I am doing for all deaf and hard of hearing in our club because I want to see everybody happy and feel good about this club.  Share this feeling :-)  Any problems or questions, don't be scared to ask me because I am only human just like you.

Thank you for reading this message and best wishes

Shaun
